A customer in the Oil & Gas industry wanted to internalize advanced surfacing capabilities, with a specific focus on the EHLA technique. The goal was to process smaller components, specifically for pumps and valves. They required a low-risk, high-quality entry point to master this technology before scaling up to mass production.
The Hornet Solution
We supplied a compact Turnkey System, the strategic forerunner to our modern The Hive™ model. This machine was engineered to provide an accessible step into laser cladding:
