The Hornet Mobile™ System is engineered as a comprehensive, ready-to-deploy solution. It combines two core components: a highly mobile robotic platform and a distinct, easily transportable unit for all process controls.
- Laser Head Manipulation: An ABB IRB 2600-20/1.65 industrial robot powered by the advanced ABB Omnicore controller.
- Laser System: A powerful 3kW Laserline LDM diode laser, paired with Laserline optics (LLK-D) and a 20m optical fiber.
- Mobile Process Control Unit: Features an easily transportable chassis, integrated cooling for both laser and optics, a Simpliflow™ Hopper powder feeder, and secure housing for Argon cylinders.
- Software & Control: An intuitive Hornet HMI touchscreen, the Hornet Software APP for the ABB robot, and secure remote connectivity via VPN.
